held on Saturday 3rd March 2012 at Hobart High School, Kittens Lane, Loddon

LODDON WHITE DOLPHINS MAKE A SPLASH!

Top marks to Hobart High School pool for hosting Loddon White Dolphin Juniors' annual gala. Club Chairman, Mark Stone, praised the courage and confidence shown by the 6-9 year olds who turned out for, what was for many of the youngsters, a first gala. The sparkling newly restored pool provided the perfect venue to show off swimming skills; proud parents and supporters were rewarded with an afternoon full of anticipation and excitement.

6 Year Olds

Strong performances from Rohan Chauhan and Lola Dunlop ensured both gained double firsts in their respective boys' and girls' freestyle and backstroke races. Boys' freestyle saw Felix Parsley, Joel Cuskeran and Ethan Porter battle for second, third and fourth place. Joel went on to secure second in backstroke. Ellie Bishop, Lauren Harlow and Eve Storey fought for girls' freestyle second, third and fourth place. Lauren gained second in backstroke, Kate Humphries third and Lucy Yardy fourth.

Breaststroke went to Grace Battisson. A close boys' front crawl was won by Alex Carver. James Humphries and Tom Caston wrestled for second and third place with Joshua Field fourth.
