Report: LODDON WHITE DOLPHIN SPONSORED SWIM BUYS SPIROMETER FOR LODDON SURGERY
held In June 2006 at Hobart High School Loddon, Presentation held on 11th October 2006

Three hundred 5 - 16 year old Loddon White Dolphin swimmers swam a hundred miles with individual distances of between one and 10,000 metres to raise money to buy Loddon Surgery a spirometer - a vital piece of diagnostic and monitoring equipment used to measure respiratory conditions.

Chief coach Pam Stone and retiring girls' club captain Rebecca Wolsey presented £1500 at Hobart High School swimming pool on Saturday 7 October 2006 to Betty White from Loddon Surgery Patients Participation Group and Elizabeth Moore, Practice Nurse. Betty expressed thanks and in the words of the Club's late founder - Ted White - said a 'Very Well Done' to the club swimmers, parents and sponsors for enabling the spirometer to be purchased.

Betty and Elizabeth presented 10,000 metre distance medals to Corinne Bailey, Hannah Bailey, Rebecca Gray, Alice Jennison, Luke Jinkerson and Broden Yaxley. 7,500 metre distance trophies were awarded to James Edmunds, Faith Jennison, Jack Nelson, and Laura Soloman. Top fund raiser Chalin Green received book vouchers.
